What is National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)?
NTHS serves over 80,00 student members annually. In 2015 NTSH awarded over $200,000 in scholarships to career and technical education students. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today's higher competitive and skilled workforce. What are the requirements?
How much does it cost? The membership is $30 per students. This is a one-time fee. Students do not need to review their membership. Students will need to pay the $30 membership fee via the On-Line School Payment (SP) link a the bottom of the school's website homepage. Membership applications can be found on the MHS Career Services website (mshcareerservices.weebly.com/nths). What do I get? As a member, you will receive a members certificate portfolio, and card to showcase your lifetime membership. In addition, you will receive an official NTHS diploma seal, graduation tassel, lapel pin, an window decal to show your affiliation with NTHS. Once the students logs in to the NTHS website, he or she may request up to three personal letters of recommendation for employment, college admission, or scholarship committees and gain access to the NTHS Online Career Center including these valuable services: Career Safe and Career Key. When is the deadline? NTHS students that have registered prior to January each year may be eligible to apply for scholarships online beginning in January!
