Career and College Promise (CCp)

Career & College Promise (CCP) is North Carolina’s dual-enrollment program for high school students. Through Career & College Promise, qualified high school students in North Carolina have the opportunity to pursue dual-enrollment options tuition free while they are in high school, allowing them to get a jump  start on their workplace and college preparation.
2021 Spring Enrollment Cycle (New and Continuing Students)

  • Self-Registration will run from November 2nd  – December 4th. Students cannot self-register unless all the necessary requirements have been completed.
  •  New Students: The CCP Application Form Deadline has passed! Students who submitted the CCP Application Form (not including EV Forms or other documentation) by yesterday (November 15th) are still eligible to continue through the enrollment process to be admitted for the Spring 2021 Semester.
  •  Continuing Students: Students who are currently enrolled in the CCP Program can locate their EV Form within the [selfserve.waketech.edu]Self-Service Portal within their “Required Documents” for completion. As a reminder, students must submit an updated high school transcript with their EV Form. Transcripts with a print date between August 17, 2020 to the present day will be acceptable. Transcripts and any other supporting documentation not attached to the EV Form can be emailed to the CCP Inbox (ccp@waketech.edu), but may cause a delay in processing.
 
  • Please remind/inform Continuing Students to check their “Wake Tech Email” for all updates and correspondence regarding registration.
 
  • Special Pathways & Cohorts: Students who plan to participate in the following pathways and cohorts for the upcoming term do not self-register themselves (these students are registered in groups at a later date by the CCP Team in collaboration with the designated academic programs):
    • Nurse Aide
    • Medical Assisting
    • Cosmetology
    • Fuquay-Varina HS Cohort (CJC)
    • Sanderson HS Cohort (BUS)
Transcripts
  • Please remind all students that an updated EV Form and transcript must be submitted every term of enrollment. Many students were marked as “Incomplete” due to outdated transcripts from February – June 2020.

Mid-Year Graduates
Correspondence has been sent out requesting your lists for Mid-Year Graduates. As a reminder, graduating seniors who complete their final exams in December will not be eligible for CCP for the 2021SP. These students will need to complete the traditional Wake Tech CC Application and complete that process in order to enroll as a traditional students.   • December 4: CCP Registration Self-Registration Deadline
  • December 14: CCP Course Selection Form Opens
  • December 18: Course Selection Form Processing will halt. Form/Processing will reopen January 7th due to Christmas Break.
  • January 7: First Day of Class (16-week & 1st 8-week Sessions)
  • January 13: CCP Course Selection Form Deadline
